Voltage Application Clamp

This clamp attaches to a fluidic probe, allowing for an electrical potential to be applied to a fluid stream. An example of use includes the ability to provide a voltage to a fluid stream either pre- or post-device, thus avoiding the need to fabricate an on-chip electrode. This approach is compatible with a wide variety of electrode materials. Contact us for fitting types needed for your application.

Holders and Chucks

CorSolutions offers a unique microdevice holder, composed of nesting inserts. These inserts allow the single holder to accept a 6 inch, 4 inch or microscope slide device. The holder allows devices to be secured and positioned for a variety of purposes. Examples include mounting in microscopes, boom stands, or tables. As devices are supported on their edges, the holder can be used for transmitted light applications. It also can serve as a secure holding means for manual operations, such as addition of ports or bonding. The holder has clearance holes, allowing for it to be mounted to peripherals, and it has removable feet.

Capillaries with Embedded Filters

Imaging and Software

Capillaries with embedded filters can be used with CorSolutions’ fluidic probes. When placed at the outlet end of a microdevice, the embedded filter serves as a frit, allowing particles as small as 2 microns to be retained and packed into the device. When placed at the inlet end of a microdevice, it serves as a filter to keep unwanted particulate from entering the microdevice.

CorSolutions offers metrology software for such measurements as time lapse imaging, channel dimension determination, edge detection, particle velocities, image stitching and spline determination.
